Susan joined Sterling in 2016 and is a Vice Presidnet of Business Development at the firm. Susan is responsible for supporting the effort to identify and qualify new investment opportunities at the firm and is also responsible for Sterling’s marketing effort.
Previously, Susan worked at GE Global Sponsor Finance and Heller Financial Corporate Finance for nine years, where she was responsible for underwriting middle market leveraged finance transactions for private equity clients. Prior to that, she spent three years at Arthur Andersen, LLP in the Specialty Consulting practice. Susan earned a B.S. from Miami University and an M.B.A. from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Susan served on the Executive Board and Grants Committee of the Parent-Teacher Association at her sons’ school in Westport. She also served as district co-chair of the Positive Youth Development program. In that role, she collaborated with the Westport Department of Health and Human Services to bring programming to the town that educated parents on issues facing youth today and how to support their positive development.
