Sterling Investment Partners ("Sterling"), a private equity firm that has been investing in and building middle-market companies for over 22 years, announces that its portfolio company, Excelligence Learning Corporation, acquired Environments, Inc, a distributor of premium early education products.

Excelligence Learning is a full-line manufacturer and distributor of high-volume, consumable and non-consumable products, primarily educational, to the $1.5 billion pre-K and K-6 markets.
